No. Wendy’s chicken sandwich combo is $12 where I live and not worth the price. I still go to Subway but make my own ribs at home instead of carry out. No McD’s since they dropped their DEI initiatives

100% not worth the price! That's a massive jump from the $5 deal I used to see 👀

Yeah. You'll have to wait for them to run a special moving forward.

Never was a fast food junkie but I use to do Panera Bread frequently but the prices are out of control. They were my pick for cleaner, healthier versions of fast food but I am so done with them. Here in NJ it will cost you for a meal and drink for two people about $30, no longer worth it. My homemade soup and salad is so much better, so I pocket the cash and have a tidy sum accumulating for harder times that are sure to come.

I have found that I can get a much healthier (and tasty) meal for the same price ( sometimes less) by shopping the “special s” at restaurants and stores; McD’s is no longer cheap food.

📉 I’ve cut back a lot and eat at home more

I can typically make something better than fast food for much less. You can find recipes online for your favorite restaurant meals and enjoy them at home. Prices are ridiculous at restaurants.

💸 No – Prices are too high for what you get

If I want to eat our I'd rather spend $30-$80 (1-2 people plus tip) dollars in a local sit down restaurant than $20-$50 dollars (for 1-2 people) at a fast food restaurant. We end up feeling like crap afterwards. I'd rather buy frozen food equivalents and make those at home. Considerably cheaper.

Starbucks hack: your homebrewed coffee plus 1 or 2 spoons of blackstrap molasses. Want it frothy? Pour 1/2 c milk in a jar, mw 15seconds, put a cap on it and shake vigorously for 15-30 seconds. Spoon the foam on your drink. Send me the $7.
